Wendell E. Lane was in born in Wichita, Kansas, on August 26, 1947, and lived a life full of passion and purpose. He was the 4th child born to Samuel and Amanda Lane.
After graduating from San Jose High School in 1965, Wendell dedicated many years to the Ford Motor Company in Milpitas, California, retiring after a distinguished career that began in 1973. He found true joy in the rhythm of music, dance, and attending live concerts, but his greatest happiness came from time spent with loved ones. We especially acknowledge his devoted niece, Arvella J. Carter, who provided loving care in his final decade. He also shared a special unique relationship with his great nephew King Lea lV.
Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel E. and Amanda C. Lane, and his siblings James Eddie Donald Eskin. Wilburt D Lane , and Violetta M McFarland . He is fondly remembered by his sisters Carolyn McGrew (Robert McGrew) and Doris Bradford, his brother Victor G.
