Katherine Robinson, affectionately known as Cat, was born May 3, 1940, to Willie Robinson
and Gladys Diamond Robinson in Kentwood Louisiana of Tangiphona Parish. She was the
third child born to this union.
In the early 40's her father, Willie Robinson married Edna Dixon Robinson and to this union
her sister Dottie Robinson was born.
Katherine accepted Christ at an early age at the Springfield Baptist Church in Kentwood,
Louisiana under the pastorship of Reverend John Thompson. After relocating to East Palo
Alto, California, Katherine joined Mount Zion Baptist Church in Redwood City, California
where she was an active member until her health declined.
She participated in various bible studies and was willing to help whenever asked.
She worked for Stanford Hospital in the Dietary Department for thirty years before
retiring. After retiring from Stanford, she worked an additional fifteen plus years for
Jeffrey and Tray Witter in Los Altos, California.
Cat enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless, The Price Is Right, Lifetime movies!
Wrestling and the morning news. Additionally, she loved going to the Berryessa Flea
Market in San Jose.
Cat called her sister, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends every Saturday. She loved to
shop at Kohl's and Mervyn's. She also was an avid Gardner with a "green thumb." Her
patio was full of an array of green plants.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Willie Ike, her sister Nancy, and
her only child, her son, Raymond Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister Dottie Robinson of Henderson, Nevada
