Floyd Edward Sadler
December 15,1953 – January 29, 2026

Floyd departed this life on January 29, 2026, at the age of 72. He is cherished by family
and friends for his warmth and kindness. He touched the lives of many with his
humorous spirit and will be deeply missed by many who knew and loved him.
Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Willie Mae Edwards (4/12/1916 -11/13/1999) and
William Sadler. He moved to Oakland, CA with his family and then Menlo Park. As an
adult he resided in Santa Clara and San Jose, CA.
Floyd enjoyed sports and actively participated in track, football, baseball and the band,
playing the trumpet, during his Ravenswood High School years.
Floyd is survived by 2 sons: Floyd Edward Sadler, II and Kanyon Howard Sadler; 2 grandsons:
DeVron Marquis Randle and Josia Jordan Sadler; 2 sisters: Shirley Sadler Robins and
Wanda Jean Sadler Spencer and 1 brother: Larry Sadler, who will forever hold his
memory in their hearts. He also leaves to cherish precious memories, a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
Floyds only daughter, Deirdre Nicole Sadler (07/20/75-01/11/16) preceded him in death.
